Edublogs
This blog can be used or any age group. I think that it is a great site because it gives you a chance to have a look at other peoples blogs all from one page. It is good because any age group, from primary to secondary can use the blog. A class blog allows children to feel like they are part of not only the classroom community but also the wider international community.
The Innovative Educator
I think that this site is a very useful resource for teachers and students to use. This website has great links to help students learn their subject matter in a innovative way. It also gives great ideas on different softwares that teachers can use to help the student, parent and teacher relationships.
Mscofino
This blog site is a great resource as it actually shows you the type of projects they carry out internationally. This site is aiming to include 21st century literacies into today's classroom. There are really great ideas of how to include digital media into the classroom. They also show you how they administer their projects and it also includes the outcomes from the projects that they have run.

*New literacies help extend traditional literacy by using new mediums and a wide variety of tools to explore text.
*Assessment is the biggest point in using new technologies in schools as most assessment is focused on traditional literacies (reading and writing using paper).
*In order for a school to effectively implement new digital and media literacies in schools, the school must first supply proper technical support and resources. The introduction of these technologies must be a gradual process.
